Embroidery Club: FAQ

I am a beginner, are these kits for me?

Our modern embroidery patterns and kits are designed for all levels of stitchers. For beginners, we include an easy needlepoint stitch guide, outlining the 8 most basic stitches to learn and stitch from. The pattern includes suggested stitches as well as the DMC thread colours, however we encourage you to get creative, as there is no right or wrong stitch! There are also many video tutorials in our Pinterest page. If you are a more advanced stitcher - then let it all out and create your hand embroidery art masterpiece as you wish!

Which providers do you use for Shipping?

From Canada - Domestic parcels are shipped using Canada Post Standard Tracked Shipping services. You can upgrade to Express or Priority at checkout or contact us for alternative options.

* US shipments are tracked and shipped with Tracked USPS shipping.


* International shipments - the majority of destinations are covered with Ascendia however this is not guaranteed and will depend on your exact location. Feel free to check this with us.

From South Africa - domestic parcels are shipped using PUDO, the Courier Guy or Postnet.

* International shipments are sent with DHL.

What are the payment options available?

We accept all major credit cards as well as Paypal. Payments are all taken through our secure payment merchant system. Should you wish to pay by etransfer/EFT - please contact us and we can arrange this. 

What is your lost parcel policy?

Lost and unreturned parcels are rare. Delays may occur during COVID and postal agencies are unable to guarantee any delivery times, however parcels are arriving within a few days of estimates given.
 

All US orders include tracking.
Canada free shipping options DO NOT include tracking. All other orders include Canada Post tracked services.
Shipping upgrades are available using the drop down menu at checkout.

For TRACKED shipping - If after 28 business days there is no update to your parcel whereabouts - we deem the package as lost and I will offer a full refund or replacement.

For replacements - Shipping is to be paid by the buyer.


For STANDARD SHIPPING with no tracking - I am unable to offer a refund for lost parcels. I can offer a replacement at 25% off the original price with the requirement of tracked shipping upgrade at the buyers expense.

Do you have a physical shop location?

We don't have a physical retail shop location however are available for pick up and sales from our home studios, in both Vancouver, Canada and in Knysna, South Africa.

Thimbles Quilting Shop in Durbanville, Cape Town, is also a supplier of our products.
